is 25 cents per carton and lunch is $1.25 including milk. You
may deposit any amount you wish in your child's lunch account (we

St. Dominic School participates in the U.S. Government Lunch
Program, therefore a letter concerning application for free or
reduced lunch will come home with your student the first day
of school.
School Age Care (SAC)
Saint Dominic School provides quality care before and after
school hours. This service is offered to working parents.
All St. Dominic Elementary School students are automatically
registered for the SAC Program. The registration fee covers
both the school and SAC program registration.
SAC
opens at 7:00am each morning and closes promptly at 5:45pm each
school day. On half-days or school holidays, SAC is open from
7:00am until 5:45pm also; however bag lunches are required on those
days.
School Hours
If your child arrives between 7:00am and 7:30am. the parent must
accompany the child into the door to the School Age Care and sign
them in. Between 7:30am and 8:00am, the children will come
into the building through the front school door and continue on to
the gym. All elementary students will participate in Morning
Assembly at 8:00am before going into the classrooms.
Our school day for elementary and pre-school begins PROMPTLY at 8am
with dismissal for elementary students at 3:00pm. Morning
preschool students are to be picked up promptly at Noon. If they are
not picked up by 12:15pm, they will go to daycare and a fee will be
charged. Elementary students should be picked up no later than
15 minutes after dismissal. Any student not picked up by
3:15pm (on full days), 2:15pm (on Wednesdays), or 11:45am (on half
days) will go to SAC and a daycare fee will be charged.
Safety Notes
Please remember
when you are dropping off or picking up your children,
Crescent Drive is a "loading zone" only. You may choose to use
this zone, but you cannot park and walk to the school doors to pick
up your child. Drivers using this zone MUST stay in their
cars so that traffic can move safely and cautiously. The
circular drive is for handicapped parking only, for deliveries, and
SAC children pickup after school hours.
You cannot drop off your child in front of school on Center Street.
ALL PRE-SCHOOL CHILDREN MUST BE WALKED INTO THE BUILDING BY AN ADULT.
Please help us use every safety precaution this year for the protectionn and safety of our students.
Parent Volunteers
ST. Dominic school is fortunate to have an active Home and
School Association. We have volunteer forms available to all
parents to "give" of their time and talents. Please sign up to
help in the cafeteria, as a homeroom mother or father, etc. We
need your gifts of time and talents as we work together for another
successful year. In accordance with the Diocese of Knoxville,
all volunteers must have a background check and have VIRTUS
training.
If you have any questions concerning school, please contact the
school office at
#245-8491 or 245-0362.
